Sundays Well (17) vs Muskerry (10)

Muskerry RFC, 19:00PM

In what must be the toughest game the 13s had all season we played Muskerry at home in their league. Muskerry had a huge team (and I mean HUGE) but with our depleted panel we rally put it up to them. Our front row won 75% of all scrums and our pack won more than that in line outs. Our backs from scrum half to out-half and right through the backs destroyed Muskerry in a superb display of incisive  classy rugby that would not be out of place in a much older team. In the first half Richie Cassidy broke down the blind to score a lovely try and with the two sides level at half time the break brought out the best in our lads with a Darragh O Donavan try early in the second half driving over from the 5 meter line with most of the Muskerry team hanging off him with Ian Casey to convert it put us 12 points to 5 points ahead.  Muskerry scored again quickly to put it 12 10 to us and in the closing moments Matthew Anthony glided over for a beautiful try in the corner to finish the game 17  10 to us. Well worth a mention as well was David Hegarhy, Nathan Raza-Naovi,Oliver O Sullivan,Killian Fitzgerald and Fionn O Connor." Bless em all "never sounded so GOOD
