U8 Sundays Well 12 Highfield 2

In glorious sunshine last Saturday we enjoyed an emphatic victory against a poor Highfield team. From the off it was apparent that there was a big gap in standards as the Well raced into a 5-0 lead and never looked back. All the team tackled hard and put Highfield back at every opportunity. The lads really got stuck in and Highfield were lucky to get a breakaway score midway through the second half. Sundays Well responded with a flurry of scores, the pick of which was a mazy length of the pitch run by Patrick Carey (with the ball in two hands!). Highfield got another consolation try late on, but the Well finished off comfortably, emptying the bench and crossing the line a few more times to score.
